What Kind Of A Failure Are You?

What Kind Of A Failure Are You

There are many opinions of failure. Is it good? Is it bad? What is your attitude of "Failure is not an option"

We all hear this saying. Here"s my take:

There are 2 types of failure: Temporary and permanent. So what"s the difference?

Temporary failure is only practiced by successful people or people that are on the right footstep for success. They knowthat when they have failed, it"s not over. They have the leadership mindset to learn from these failures to make it right the next time.

They know that failures are lessons in disguise and are essential for success. Temporary failures are just lessons! The successful know that the more you are going to fail, the more success you will have!

So risk is involved. The successful know that in order to have some rank of change in their life, some risk has to be taken in order to move in the right direction. Risk can go in cooperation ways - good and bad.

So failure IS an option. It is a must! Successful people welcome failure because they know they are getting closer to their goals and dreams by culture these lessons!

Let"s look at the other type of failure: Permanent Failure

This is practiced by the ones that aren"t so successful whether it be in business or in life. They understand failure as a means to an end. They fail once and never try again to make it right. Their mindset is so breakable and trying new equipment to make a change in their life is now out of the question.

They now see risk EQUALLING failure. They would rather "play it safe" than to have a temporary defeat and a lesson to learn from it.

This is what separates the successful from the unsuccessful in business and in life. Look at your life now. Are you culture from your temporary defeats? Or are you allowing to think that your failures or defeats will keep you down for the rest of your life?

Remember this: You have to take risks and accept temporary failures in order to have a better life! If you stay fearful of risk and allow permanent failure to be converted into part of your life, then you are only going to stay stuck including the life you are already living.

So is Failure an option now?

I appreciate the opportunity to lead you.

You leadership coach,

Greg Schmidt
